A journal does not have to be complete
A photo or short sentence is often enough. Gaps do not make earlier entries less useful.
You do not need to open DayJar every day. Your entries remain useful even when there are gaps between them.
Short entries are enough
A photo, one sentence, or a short voice memo can record a day. You can add to or edit any entry later.
The writing streak is only a record
DayJar shows a writing streak when entries fall on consecutive days. It does not change any features or set a daily goal. Weekly and monthly recaps use only the entries you have written. After the first 14 days, new recaps are part of DayJar Pro; existing ones remain available.
Find it later
Timeline, Calendar, Memories, and Map lead back to your saved entries. That makes even a short note useful later.
